Strand Named IFF Offensive Player of the Week
Matt
Strand, quarterback for the Wyoming Cavalry (AIFA), has been named
the
www.IndoorFootballFan.com Offensive
Player of the Week for the week of May 19th – May 26th.
Strand led the
undefeated Cavalry to a 67-32 win over the New Mexico Wildcats.
Strand was 19 of 30 on the night with 9 touchdown passes and no
interceptions, and kicked an "Uno" in the opening kickoff to put
the Cavs up 1-0 before any time was taken off the clock.
The Cavalry
host the Arizona Adrenaline Friday May 30th.
The IFF
Player of the Week is determined by fan voting along with the
votes of IFF investors and staff.
Votes are cast for Offensive, Defensive, and Special Teams Players
of the Week on a weekly basis and nominees
are selected from the AIFA, APFL, CIFL, IFL, and UIF.
